North Sea hotels

Our recommended booking agent is Hotels.comIt lists a wide range of hotels, both boutique and more traditional along the coast and into the interior of the islands.  You can view the comments of guests who have stayed in a particular hotel to help you make a good choice.

Once you are in the area or using local websites, you can often book  accommodation through the local tourist offices, or they will at least help you to make a booking yourself.  The staff will usually speak good English.  You can use our North Sea Bike Guide to find the village web sites which are generally linked to a central  Zeeland or Bruges website.

North Sea B&Bs

We have found a number of good sources for booking quality small guesthouses and Bed and Breakfasts on the web.  These are:

You can also access information via Google Maps by typing in "B&B", "Bed and Breakfast" or "pension" when you have a map of the area open on your screen.

North Sea gites

Generally you need to book an apartment for 3 or more days, probably a week in high season, but for a family with young children this can be a great way of enjoying the area.

The terms "Gites", "Apartment" and "Country Cottage" are used to cover the various options.  The links in North Sea Bike Guide will offer you some good opportunities as will the general VVV Zeeland site.

North Sea campsites

There are loads of campsites close to the coast, in farmyards across the Zeeland islands and advertised on the VVV Zeeland website.  EuroCamping offers campsites in these areas.
